Our Commitment

Boxing.co.ke is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and supportive community for all members of the East African boxing community. This Code of Conduct applies to all users, including boxers, fans, promoters, and administrators.

All community members are expected to:

• Use respectful and professional language in all communications
• Provide accurate information about fight records and achievements
• Respect the decisions of promoters, officials, and platform administrators
• Support fellow boxers and celebrate their achievements
• Engage in constructive discussions and feedback
• Report violations of this Code of Conduct
• Respect intellectual property and give credit where due
• Maintain confidentiality when appropriate

3. Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment: Any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation
• Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic
• False Information: Posting false fight records, achievements, or credentials
• Threats: Making threats of violence or harm
• Spam: Unsolicited promotional content or repetitive messaging
• Impersonation: Impersonating other boxers, officials, or platform staff
• Illegal Activity: Any activity that violates local or international laws
• Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Disrespectful behavior toward opponents, officials, or fans

4. Challenge System Guidelines

When issuing or responding to challenges:

• Be respectful and professional in challenge communications
• Honor accepted challenges and commitments
• Provide reasonable notice for challenge responses
• Respectfully decline challenges if unable to participate
• Do not use challenges to harass or intimidate
• Follow through on agreed-upon challenge terms

5. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience behavior that violates this Code of Conduct:

• Report the incident to support@boxing.co.ke
• Include relevant details, screenshots, or evidence
• Reports will be reviewed confidentially
• We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly
• Retaliation against reporters is strictly prohibited

6. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

• Warning and education about expected behavior
• Temporary suspension of account privileges
• Removal of content that violates the code
• Permanent account termination for severe or repeated violations
• Legal action in cases of illegal activity

The severity of consequences depends on the nature and frequency of violations. We reserve the right to take immediate action for severe violations.

7. Appeals Process

If you believe an action taken against your account was incorrect, you may appeal by contacting support@boxing.co.ke with detailed information about your case. Appeals will be reviewed by platform administrators.

8. Community Responsibility

Every member of the Boxing.co.ke community shares responsibility for maintaining a positive environment. We encourage you to lead by example, support fellow members, and help build the East African boxing community into a source of pride and inspiration.

9. Updates to Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically to reflect community needs and values. Significant changes will be communicated to users. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated code.
